Scope and current service
This notice describes the current directory for Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater, checked October 2, 2026. The directory has no user accounts, booking checkout or payment collection.
Your shortlist stays in your browser
The directory uses localStorage under the key south-sound-spaces-shortlist to remember up to three selected venue IDs on the same browser and origin. It is not synchronized or sent to the operator. Use Clear in the shortlist tray or your browser’s site-data controls to remove it. Search filters remain in page memory; they are not saved by the application. Browser storage restrictions may prevent saving.
Correction drafts are not submitted
The fact, proposed correction, supporting source and any details you enter remain in the page until you download a JSON draft. The form sends nothing to the operator or venue. A downloaded file remains on your device under your control. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in a draft. You may choose to email the downloaded draft to the directory using the footer contact link.
Email inquiries
If you email us, the operator receives your email address, message and any attachments. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards incoming messages to the operator’s HEY inbox. These services process email to deliver and store it under their own privacy practices. We use the information to respond to inquiries and assess listing corrections. Avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare Pages hosts this static site. Loading a page sends requests to Cloudflare, including your IP address, requested URL and browser information; Cloudflare may process request data to deliver and secure its services. The directory has no application backend receiving forms. Links to venue websites and other sources take you to independent services with their own privacy practices.
Advertising, analytics and cookies
No Google advertising scripts, ad units or analytics tags currently run. The directory application does not set cookies or transmit shortlist data. Hosting security measures and external sites have their own data handling. Future advertising may introduce cookies, identifiers and third-party processing; this notice and any required consent or opt-out controls must be updated before ads are activated. Verification metadata or ads.txt, if configured, supports publisher verification without loading an ad script.
Questions and updates
Use the email link in the footer for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have emailed us. Downloading a correction draft alone does not send it to us. This page must be reviewed whenever the actual data handling changes.
